- Can I get a certificate if the result is positive?

Certificate is sent no matter what the result is.
- Can I get a paper certificate?

Certificate is issued only in PDF form and sent by email. If you need paper certificate, please photocopy by yourself.
- Do you have PCR test with “Nasopharyngeal Swab”?

We have PCR test with “Saliva” only.
- Is this certificate valid to go overseas?

- How can I cancel or change the reservation?

Please follow the procedure shown in reservation confirmation email.
- I haven’t received test result email.

Please check junk box. Also if you specify domains to prevent spam, please set the following domains; ”covid-kensa.jp”
- What should I do when infected with COVID-19?

Please follow the instructions given by the public health center for isolation and treatment.
If you don’t speak Japanese, please call COVID-19 hotline 0120-997-479. Interpretation is available in 19 languages.
- Can I receive the test result in English?

The test result email is written only in Japanese. Please apply for Certificate of
Testing for COVID-19 if you need the result in English.
- Can infants take PCR test?

It might be difficult for infants to collect saliva, and might not get accurate result if the amount of saliva is not enough(2ml).
- If I have symptoms such as fever above 37.5℃, cough, or chemosensory disorders, can I take PCR test?

Persons with symptoms or close contact are not allowed.
- Can I eat or drink something before PCR test?

Please refrain from eating, drinking, smoking, or brushing teeth 30mins before PCR test.
- Can I take PCR test without reservation?

- I have not received reservation confirmation email.

- Can you issue a negative certificate?

Test result certificates can be issued, but negative certificates are not issued as they require a physician’s diagnosis. We are preparing to issue such certificates in the future.
